Art Action - the new sponsor of the Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural

With the guideline "seeks to harness art and culture to improve lives in meaningful ways", Art Venture has stated: "Our mission is to connect the living arts to the major challenges of the 21st century. The living arts play a vital role in crafting individual spirits and perceptions and harnessing the creativity needed for human development. We are pleased to provide the grant to the New Hanoi Arts towards this end...".
With the support from the ArtAction, a new section of the Hanoi Mural will be created with the involvement of the community members, especially the new Hanoian people, who migrated to the Capital City from the countryside provinces.
The new section is planned to be built on the dike wall along the Au Co Street, and has a title as "The Hanoi Messages". Together with the artists from NHA, the migrants will have the chances to draw out their dreams of Hanoi, make the ceramic materials, mosaic their sketches and install it into the mural...
The activities for the section "The Hanoi Messages" is scheduled to start from the end of February 2009, e.g after the Traditioal New Year Holidays.
