Sample: The tile from Tony Heriza, Philadelphia, USA Artist - journalist Nguyen Thu Thuy and the New Hanoi Arts invite artists and anybody who loves to make ceramic from around the world to submit hand-made clay tiles to be included in a mural project named "Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural – A Gift for Hanoi's 1000 year Anniversary". All artist tiles will be installed in a part of wall named "Artist tiles around the World". Just imagine, there will be a day when you and your beloved people would visit Hanoi and you can show them the tiles in the famous Hanoi Mural's wall. Or, any traveler from your country will be very proud of you when they see your art-work there in Hanoi. They will say: "Oh, this is from my country!"...

Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural is part of a very big project of continuous ceramic mosaic murals to be created on a wall running 6.3 kilometers (approximately 4 miles long) along the bank of the Red River in Hanoi. And the section titled "Artists tiles around the World" is running along Au Co street. The start-point is at opposite of Lane 275 Au Co and finish-point is at the Lane 328 Au Co Street. The total length is 307 meters (about 1,006.5 feet) at the height of 1.3 meter (4.26 feet) and the total area is approximately 400 square meters (4,005 square feet).

The wall is built by rocks with the cement decoration mortared in figure of cellular polygons:
Nguyen Thu Thuy and the New Hanoi Arts hope that artists from many countries will accept this opportunity to be part of a very special event honoring her beloved city of Hanoi on the occasion of its 1000th birthday.
On the other hand, all participated artists from around the wall will contribute to make this part of wall as unique one, where there is ceramic material from every corner of the Earth. We might together set up even the new world's record with our tiles !

- Tile's theme and technique used to create it is up to you! However, please make the surface flat only (carving is possible) so that your tile can avoid of damage and be forever with the time.
